Lurdes Bergadà, Barcelona 1950, began making her own clothes with the only ambition of dressing up in her own style. It wasn’t too long until people began to show interest in what she was wearing. And it was around that revelation that she decided to make a career in fashion design in the early 70’s.

  • 1973

    Launches her first brand, PLEXIGLAS.

  • 1978

    Opening the first Retail Store in Barcelona, in the Bulevard Rosa, Paseo de Gracia 55.

  • 1983

    Enters into the foreign market.

  • 1985

    Opening of the Paris office, which distributes 50% of the total output production.

  • 1986

    Opening the Madrid Store in Almirante, Conde de Xiquena 8.

  • 1987

    Awarded with the 10th Internacional Exportation Award, Madrid.

  • 1988

    The brand changes its name to LURDES BERGADA.

  • 1991

    Change in the retailing model to an only -LURDES BERGADA stores- point of sale.

  • 1993

    Opening the Granollers Store, in Plaça de l'Oli 5.

  • 2000

    Opening the Barcelona Store, in Rambla Cataluña 112.

  • 2001

    Launches a men’s collection designed by Syngman Cucala.

  • 2004

    Opening the Madrid Store, in Fuencarral 70.

  • 2007

    Opening the Barcelona Store in the Born, Plaza Santa María 2.

  • 2009

    Opening the Barcelona Store in Illa Diagonal, Avenida Diagonal 569.
